Lisburn Sure Start
Lisburn Sure Start aims to deliver “the best start in life” for every child residing within the Old Warren Ward, Tonagh Ward and Hillhall SOA 1. We offer a free programme of services for all families with a child aged 0-3 and mums and dads to be, to families who live in the above areas. Our services are offered both in your own home or at one of our premises located within Old Warren, Hillhall and Tonagh and include early education and play, health and family support. Some of the services which provide include; Antenatal and postnatal programmes, breastfeeding and infant nutrition support, play development programmes, speech and language support, parenting programmes, home visiting and physical activity and healthy eating programmes.

The Resurgam Community Development Trust
This new community support organisation has been developed with the aim of connecting individuals, groups and transformed communities to create a sustainable environment in which all are proud to live, learn, play and work. Resurgam will create growth opportunities through support, capacity building and social economy initiatives to sustain regeneration in the Greater Lisburn area through building connections and alliances to positively influence decisions that will affect the communities served by the Trust and its members.

New Colin Counselling
New Colin Community Counselling is a BACP Accredited Counselling Service and we are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. Our vision is that the people of the Old Warren Area will have access to a Counselling Service that supports their emotional health and well being and contributes to enabling them to develop their full potential. We help clients to explore issues impacting on their lives and to discover ways of living more effectively.
The service is delivered by professionally qualified counsellors supported and managed in accordance with recognised codes of practice and working in partnership with other service providers. You can refer to the service on 02890604347 or online at http://colincounselling.org/make-referral.
The service is available for male and female clients and delivered at centres in Poleglass, Twinbrook and Old Warren to help you access the service.
