Barkingham Palace is a dog grooming business run by local woman, Diane McLucas with a professional diploma in dog grooming.
The team consists of 2 dog hygienists, and 2 part time dog groomers.
The parlour is open from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and from 8am-1pm on a Saturday.
The parlour can specialise in bathing and drying, clipping and scissoring, furminating treatment for shedding dogs, ear cleaning and plucking and nail clipping.

Lisburn Sure Start
Lisburn Sure Start aims to deliver “the best start in life” for every child living within the Old Warren Ward, Tonagh Ward and Hillhall.
We offer a free programme of services for all families with a child aged 0-3, as well as for Mums and Dads to be, who live in the above areas.
Depending on your preference- our services can be offered in your own home or at one of our venues located within Old Warren, Hillhall and Tonagh. Families are free to attend programmes in any of our four venues. We have programmes such as sensory play, cooking programmes, baby massage, toddler swim, speech and language and family support.

Early Intervention Project
Early Intervention Lisburn Partnership, established in 2012, led by the Resurgam Trust includes representatives from the community, statutory and voluntary agencies.
It is a locality planning group with the aim of developing a collective plan to improve outcomes for children, young people and families in Lisburn.
Top priorities for Early Intervention Lisburn are:
- Help Kids Talk – speech, language, and communication project for children 0-10 years old.
- Connected Minds – a mental health and wellbeing project for children and young people 5 – 20 years old.
- Listening to children, young people, parents and families on their views & needs.
- Empowering children, families & communities to enjoy good health and wellbeing.
Staff for both projects are based in Laganview Enterprise Centre since 2020.
