Joanne Casey - Centre Manager Joanne joined LaganView in June 2007 as the newly appointed centre manager. After graduating from Jordanstown with a distinction in her Masters in Communication, Advertising and Public Relations (CAP) Joanne worked for a brief spell as a Learner Support Worker in Banbridge. Following this she began her work with the Social Economy sector as part of an EU Funded project providing IT Support and Consultancy as well as for the private and public sector in Banbridge District Enterprises. Her passion and enthusiasm for this has been a direct result of her appointment to this position.
Mr Adrian Bird Adrian Bird has been a community practitioner for the past 14 years and is currently employed as manager of Lisburn Prisoners Support Project. Adrian holds a certificate in Commuity Development accredited through the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. He also holds a Level 5 award in Leadership and Management accredited through the Institute of Leadership and Management. Adrian has worked for the past 10 years within the social economy sector in Lisburn and was a founding member of and is currently a Director of New Horizons Credit Union and Lisburn Commuity Self Build Ltd.
During the last 14 years he has successfully managed numerous European Peace Funded Projects and has an array of experience in financial planning, governance and management. He also sits on the local Lisburn/Castlereagh Peace III Cluster Partnership.

Mr Denis Paisley Denis is a professional youth worker within Old Warren Partnership, funded by the South Eastern Education and Library Board. He has been involved in Old Warren Youth Initiative since 1996 as a volunteer and then in youth work post since 1997. Committee member of Old Warren Community Association since 1996. As a Youth Worker Denis is involved in the management of projects, which includes administration, organisational and budgetary controls within the community, including youth development and community development. Denis holds a degree in youth and community work, obtained in University in Ulster, Jordanstown, 2005 and holds certificates in Community Development and Community Arts, Queen's University, Belfast 1998 and 1999. He is also a director of Lisburn Community Self Build, Old Warren Partnership and Trustee of Lisburn Prisoners Support Project. Denis is currently studying for a post graduate MA in Education.
Mrs Violet Martin
Violet has been a long standing resident of Old Warren for over 40 years now. She is an active community member in the Lisburn area participating in senior citizens events with St. Patrick's, Evergreens and Sarah Crothers. Violet also supports her local Old Warren Senior Citizens Saturday Club which meet socially every Saturday night in LaganView Enterprise Centre.
Mrs Olga Dominiak
Olga Dominiak, from Belarus, came to Old Warren in 2005. She is married to a Polish National and has two young children. She wishes to thank all those people who have made her feel like home here. Olga has a degree in marketing can speak Russian, English and Polish fluently and acts as a support worker for migrant workers at the Welcome House in Old Warren. Olga believes The Welcome House has truly helped those from the ethnic minority community to integrate within the Lisburn area. She believes that LaganView Enterprise Centre will help to gather people from different countries, religions and backgrounds under the one roof as each one of us has something valuable and interesting to share.
Mrs Peggy Kambule
Peggy, a mother of three, is originally from South Africa is now residing in the Old Warren. She is currently working as a Support Worker at The Beeches Residential in Ballynahinch. There she cares for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. Peggy is currently studying with The Open University to become a qualified Social Worker.
Mrs Julieanne Audley
Julieanne Audley lives within Old Warren and is a mother to a young son and daughter. She is currently working part-time in Lisburn as a sales advisor but hopes to further her career within the next few months. Julianne was, until recently, to be an active member of Old Warren Women's group but due to her family commitments is no longer part of this group. However, she still actively supports the group which has had tremendous success in offering women within Old Warren the opportunity to enhance their skills for gaining employment.
Mr Francis Ferris Francie is married with three children and has been employed as the regional project manager for the Women's Project Peace II Positive Relations Project in Old Warren since 2006. Francie has been involved extensively in voluntary community development and youth work in the area from as early as 1998 which resulted in employment in these roles in 2003. Francie has already completed NVQ Level 3 in Youth Work and received a commendation in his Diploma in Community Youth Work. He is currently studying part-time for his BSc Honours Degree in Community Youth Work and an NVQ Level 3 in Community Justice. In addition, Francie co-ordinates and manages youth projects with Lisburn PSP and Hillhall Regeneration Group. He is a board member for Colin Sure Start and sits on the commitee for County Down Community Leadership Group and the New Horizons Credit Union.

Mr Jason White
Jason White is the Assistant Director of Promoting Health and Wellbeing within the newly formed South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. The new Trust covers an area that stretches from Portaferry to Newcastle and Bangor to Lisburn. Jason's remit covers Health Development within the new Trust and he is particularly interested in seeking to address health inequalities within areas of deprivation.
Mr Owen Brady
Owen started his career with the Housing Executive in Belfast in 1974. He was the Assistant District Manager in Lisburn from 1998 until 2003 before taking up the post of District Manager in Downpatrick which he held until 2007. From 2007 until July 2011 Owen was District Manager in Newtownards before returning as the Manager to Lisburn. In his capacity his remit covers the City Centre and rural areas responsible for approximately 4,500 properties. This remit involves assessing housing need, dealing with homelessness and working in partnership with many other agencies, community groups and voluntary sector organisations. Owen is also a director of the Lisburn City Community Safety Partnership. He has a keen interest in community development and has been involved in a number of major regeneration schemes and community development projects. He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Public Policy & Management and the Professional Qualification for the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Alderman Paul Porter
Paul Porter was born and brought up in the City of Lisburn. Paul is married with two young children. He was elected to Lisburn City Council in 2001 for the Lisburn Town South Ward. After his successful re-election in 2005, Paul was appointed Alderman and is currently the Chef Whip of the DUP Council Group, which is the biggest Council Group on Lisburn City Council. In terms of office, Paul Porter is Chairman of Environmental Services and Chairman of Lisburn City Council's Housing Executive Committee. Paul is also a member of the Planning, Strategic Policy, Personnel, Leisure Services Committees and Lisburn District Policing Partnership. He was also entrusted with the Chairmanship of the Redevelopment Committee of Lisburn Adult Resource Centre.He has worked closely with community groups and statutory bodies addressing a range of issues including social deprivation, anti-social behavior, housing needs, people with learning disabilities and recreational facilities. He has become well known as a public representative who serves constituents on bread and butter issues.
In conclusion, as you can read from above, LaganView Enterprise Centre has a board which is representative of areas of deprivations as well as having the skills necessary to manage a Social Eonomy Business. Within the Board there is the knowledge of how to manage funding and how to develop social economy enteprises. The Board also links well with its advisory group which brings other agencies perspectives to the management of the Centre. The Company will continue to seek strengthening of its Board where felt necessary and also add to its Advisory Group.
